Outstanding Achievement of DYPTC Students at SPARKTECH 2026
Students of Dr. D. Y. Patil Technical Campus (DYPTC) once again made the institution proud with their exceptional performance at SPARKTECH 2026. The prestigious event, organized by the ISTE Student Chapter, featured “PosterNova”, a poster presentation competition held at Anantrao Pawar College of Engineering and Research, Pune on Friday, 6th March 2026.
The competition witnessed participation from several talented students, where DYPTC students stood out through their innovation, research, and technical excellence.
First Prize for Post Quantum Cryptography Innovation
The First Prize was awarded for the poster presentation titled “Hardware Implementation of Post Quantum Cryptography.”
The winning team included:

- Sumit Vernekar
Their project impressed the judges with its innovative approach and strong technical foundation, addressing advanced cryptographic techniques that could play a crucial role in future cybersecurity systems.
Second Prize for AI-Powered National Empowerment Concept
The Second Prize was secured for the idea presentation titled “AI Powered National Empowerment Command Centre (NECC).”

Their concept focused on using Artificial Intelligence to strengthen national empowerment and development, presenting a visionary model for centralized decision-making and strategic governance.

Both teams were mentored by Prof. Nitin Gaikwad, whose guidance played a significant role in shaping the projects and preparing students for the competition.
